The other treatments Joy is qualified to offer are Sports Massage Therapy; Indian Head Massage; Balinese Massage; Slavic Massage; Iridology; Thermal Auricular Therapy; Action Potential Therapy and hair removal, while in the pipeline are Herbal and Nutritional Medicine. Joy teaches all the regular therapies from Figure Focus Training Centre.
Originally born in Warwickshire, Joy moved to Jersey in 1966 and prior to becoming involved in the health business she worked in the public and private sectors as a secretary / PA. The therapy career took of in 1990 when Joy and her sister ran a Beauty Studio in Cheltenham while learning the trade. Joy returned to Jersey in 1994 initially working as a mobile therapist and part time office work, then working from a room in Bath Street Clinic before buying the current business in 1998.
